In many industries, there is a significant gender gap when it comes to female professionals. Despite the fact that women make up half of the population, they are often underrepresented in certain sectors and roles. To help combat this, businesses need to take steps to support female professionals in their fields. From providing mentorship and training opportunities to creating a more inclusive workplace, there are many ways to foster an environment that encourages and celebrates the success of female talent. By winning the fight for female talent, businesses can create a more diverse and equitable work environment and benefit from the unique perspectives and skillsets that female professionals bring to the table.
As part of Alexander Jacksons’ continued commitment to working with their clients and to help manage their gender diversity gap, we have launched a Female Engineering Division (FED) to attract more females into engineering and help them successfully apply and gain career progression.
We recently read PWC’s research, “Winning the fight for female talent.” One of the most striking findings is that growing numbers of women still feel employers are biased in favour of male candidates when attracting talent and that women are underrepresented at every level in the corporate pipeline.
On a positive note, it also stated that today, more and more CEOs are focusing on talent diversity and inclusion to help drive innovation in their organisations and create a competitive advantage. To help our clients conform with diversity challenges, we have launched our Female Engineering Division (FED) to assist clients with Gender Diversity which remains an issue in Engineering organisations. FED will attract females across all levels of engineering, and Alexander Jackson work’s with them to find positions within companies who really appreciate having a woman on their team to increase innovation and enable them to create a more competitive edge.
The fight for female talent is real. However, according to PwC’s report, female talent still needs to be developed and distributed among industries, sectors, and roles. The good news is that more and more CEOs are focusing on talent diversity and inclusion to help drive innovation in their organisations and create a competitive advantage.
In order to win this battle, businesses need to implement multiple tools and strategies that will help them retain, attract and engage female talent. This collaborative approach will help them create a diverse workplace that is attractive to both female and male employees.
We know we can help you create a dynamic and diverse workforce, attractive to female and male engineers; let us be your go-to partner to manage gender diversity.
